From Edinburgh:

From the Edinburgh City bypass, take the junction for the A68 (signposted to Jedburgh).

From the bypass the distance is about 34 miles. When you enter St. Boswells, take the left down the centre of the village green (junction is opposite the Buccleuch Arms). After a quarter of a mile, you will see the McColls convenience store (The Main Street Burrow door is to the right hand side of this shop).

From Newcastle:

From Junction 77 of the A1, follow the A696 towards Jedburgh. Follow this road (which becomes the A68 after Otterburn) for 62.5 miles. When you enter St. Boswells, turn right down the centre of the village green. After a quarter of a mile, you will see the McColls convenience store (The Main Street Burrow door is to the right hand side of this shop).

From Carlisle:

From Junction 44 of the M6, follow signs for the A7 (signposted Hawick & Galashiels). Just as you enter Selkirk (after about 50 miles), take the right after the golf club. Follow this road (A699) for 8 miles until you meet the A68. At this junction turn left, then take the next right along the village green. After a quarter of a mile, you will see the McColls convenience store (The Main Street Burrow door is to the right hand side of this shop).

Leave the airport and head east on the A8 towards Edinburgh. Follow signs for the A720 City Bypass (South & East). Stay on the City Bypass for 12 miles then take the junction for the A68 (signposted to Jedburgh).

From Newcastle Airport: 60 miles

Follow the A696 towards Jedburgh. Follow this road (which becomes the A68 after Otterburn) for 62.5 miles. When you enter St. Boswells, turn right down the centre of the village green. After a quarter of a mile, you will see the McColls convenience store (The Main Street Burrow door is to the right hand side of this shop).

~ By Train ~

Tweedbank Station:

The Borders Railway recently reopened in 2015 and trains run regurlarly from Edinburgh Waverley to the terminus at Tweedbank which is the  closest train station to The Main Street Burrow (6.5 miles away). The 67 bus does run from the road just outside the train station to St. Boswells bus stance but isn't a regular service and journey times can vary depending on the bus route. We would recommend getting a taxi from Tweedbank station to The Main Street Burrow which is 6.5 miles away.

~ By Bus ~

St. Boswells is well connected by bus and we recommend downloading the Borders Buses app to your phone to explore times and routes. The main bus stance in the village is a 2 minute walk away from the apartment and The Borders Buses routes that operate from here are:

51, 52 - runs from Jedburgh to St Boswells (via Kelso), then to Edinburgh up the A68.

67 - runs from Berwick to St. Boswells (via Kelso) and then onto Galashiels.

68 - runs from Jedburgh to St. Boswells and then onto Galashiels.
